A-lab’s latest project, The Carve, has been shortlisted as a nominee in the MIPIM 2014 Awards , in the category Best residential development.
The project is the most recent building in Barcode, Bjørvika – the new CBD of the Norwegian capital.
Mipim Awards is renowned as “the Oscar of the real estate development business”, and is amongst the most prestigous awards for architects and developers. The award is announced on 13th of march, the last day of MIPIM, Cannes, France. Other finalists in the same category are residential projects from Paris, London and Singapore.
Architect, partner and managing director in A-lab, Geir Haaversen, is proud with the nomination:
– We are very happy! This is a great recognition for everybody having been involved in the project. As a residential project this unique and a result of the undergoing densification process in Oslo.
2.nd MIPIM nomination
This is the 2.nd year in a row that one of A-lab’s projects has been “shortlisted” for MIPIM.
In 2013 the Statoil Regional and International Offices on Fornebu was finalist in the category Best office and business development.
