Green and urban housing project on an unusual plot

An unusual plot with spectacular views. The terraced buildings of the Linneadalen housing project in Ekebergskrenten, Oslo, provides light, views and large terraces open to the sky for all residents.

A-lab has designed a housing project for our client @Bonum that provides for social activity and a sense of community. On this steep plot – we are challenging the thought that good outdoor areas need to be flat. Five buildings with a total of 56 apartments share lush outdoor areas where the residents can socialize, interact and even grow vegetables.

The project includes a new public meeting- and vantage point with view of the city center and the fjord as well as a path for all the locals to enjoy.
