Exciting transformation project in Drammen

A-labs winning proposal for Bragernes torg 1 for Ava Eiendom was published in Drammens Tidende this week. The building is an important element in the cityscape and urban fabric in Drammen's most central urban area.

When the Grand Hotel on Bragernes Torg burned down in 1970, it was demolished and replaced with a building that appears massive and closed with an uninviting facade facing the street and the square. Now it will get a comprehensive face-lift whilst keeping the existing structure.
